Since the 1980s Marzocchi have been manufacturing suspension forks for mountain bikes an in the mid ‘90s saw a huge rise in popularity with the introduction of the original Orange Marzocchi Bomber Z1. Marzocchi forks were always a common sight on trails and at races at this time and many different versions of the Marzocchi Bomber Forks were developed to suit a variety of riding needs. In 2015 Marzocchi became a Fox Suspension brand and a range of re-vamped forks, shocks and dropper seatposts were launched under the Marzocchi name.
The Marzocchi Bomber name lives on in both forks, and now, in the form of a rear shock. The Marzocchi Bomber CR Coil shock is a modified version of the Fox Vanilla RC which offers a robust coil sprung shock at a more affordable price.
