Pumps
At Westbrook Cycles, we always recommend that riders have two pumps that they use. The first is a bike floor pump, which you can find on this page - and the second is a frame pump, which is also known as a mini pump.
The humble floor pump is one of the most useful products a cyclist can have, a floor pump is the most efficient way to add air into your tyres at home - saving the hassle of using a mini pump on the go. It’s good practice to check tyre pressures before heading out on a ride, allowing you to be confident that your bike is puncture free and running tyre pressures to suit your riding requirements.
Most floor pumps fit different valve types, including Presta and Schrader and these pumps are as easy to use, if not easier to use than a compressor. Able to inflate the highest pressure bike tyres, these pumps are operated by hand, and usually have plates either side of the pump to stand on.
These pumps will typically also have gauges inbuilt so you can instantly see the exact tyre pressure that you are running. Above you can find the complete range available to buy online, and if you have any questions about the range - get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.
