Pinarello Dogma X - Pure Cycling Multiplied By X
Pinarello, a renowned name in the cycling world, has always set the standard with its range of road bikes, and the Pinarello Dogma X represents the pinnacle of this legacy. As the latest addition to their lineup, the Dogma X is poised to redefine what it means to be the "best endurance road bike". Crafted for cyclists who demand both comfort and performance on long rides, the Dogma X marries cutting-edge technology with Pinarello's iconic design ethos, solidifying its status as a top-tier endurance road bike.
Dogma X Technologies
The Pinarello Dogma X integrates advanced materials and technology to deliver an exceptional riding experience. It features Carbon T1100 1K, a high tensile and high modulus carbon fiber, combined with Nanoalloy Technology for outstanding performance. This ensures that the weight of the bike is kept down, without sacrificing strength.
The Dogma X showcases endurance geometry, balancing performance with comfort, and the X Stays technology for vibration absorption while maintaining a lightweight frame. Having multiple points where the seatstays meet the seattube, allows vibrations to be dissipated more efficiently, reducing the amount of vibrations the rider feels. It can also accommodate up to 35mm tires, enhancing both comfort and speed.
The Dogma X also offers an asymmetric frame design, to handle the unbalanced forces created from a single side drivetrain during cycling.
Dogma Vs Dogma X
The Pinarello Dogma F and Pinarello Dogma X, while sharing the prestigious Dogma name, cater to different cycling experiences. The Pinarello Dogma F is primarily a road race bike, designed for high performance and speed, often preferred in competitive racing scenarios. In contrast, the Pinarello Dogma X is an endurance road bike, focusing more on comfort, versatility, and long-distance efficiency. The Dogma X incorporates T1100 1K carbon fibers enhanced with Nanoalloy technology for a balance of strength and weight, and a special layer on the rear triangle to absorb vibrations. This makes the Dogma X more suitable for longer rides, offering a relaxed and comfortable ride with exceptional vibration damping. It also excels on descents due to wider tires and low tire pressure, providing excellent grip.
