Bike Lights
If you are riding your road bike at night, you are required to have a white light at the front, and a red light at the back. These lights can be either continuously on or flashing - the lights must be visible from 200m and the reflector visible from 50m. If you are travelling through well lit areas, such as a city centre - then often a 100 or 200 lumen light will suffice, but if you are travelling through unlit areas - needing better visibility and safety - then you should use a light between 200 and 600 lumens. As well as illuminating the road ahead, road bike lights are also very important for safety, many cyclists not only mount lights on their bike, but also their equipment - such as helmets.
Bike Lights will also ideally be used in conjunction with high visibility cycling clothing. Above, you can find our complete range of road bike lights, including our USB rechargeable bike lights.
