Alma

The Orbea Alma is a hardtail mountain bike aimed at XC riding and racing. The carbon fibre frame weighs in at just 830g and is designed to be used with a 100mm suspension fork for a great balance of weight and performance. The frame is dropper post compatible for the more demanding routes and races, although most models come equipped with a static carbon seatpost as standard. Disc brakes and drivetrain components throughout the Orbea Alma range are from Shimano and Sram so quality is assured, and fast-rolling, grippy rubber is provided by Maxxis tyres. Although most of this collection rely on the trusty Fox 34 suspension forks, the top of the range Alma M Ltd comes equipped with Orbea's own Spirit rigid carbon forks, for the ultimate in lightweight performance. As with the majority of XC bikes, the Orbea Alma is designed around 29" wheels to maximise speed and reduce rolling resistance as much as possible.
