The World Championship-proven Mezcal also sees a new 2.4 size option using Vittoria’s new XC Race Formulation and technology.
The Fast rolling, aggressive cornering and a lightweight construction – this is the tyre for XC courses that mix hardpack, with roots and the occasional rocky stretch.
It's engineered for pure XC speed and proven with multiple UCI World Championships and XCO European Championships. It's fast-rolling contact thanks to the alternating center ridge, helps it propels you up the trail on climbs and allows for increased bite while braking. You can cornering on hard, slippery surfaces thanks to the directional siping on the shoulder knobs running parallel tothe trail with variable widths and open trailing edges.
New Race Formulation - The Race Formulation employs Graphene and Silica, providing increased wet grip and suppleness, and combines a 60TPI tubeless ready casing to optimize deformation. This combination has been shown to reduce rider fatigue while simultaneously increasing race-day reliability.
The new casing, new compound, and new size addition of Mezcal shows a 3% improvement in rolling performance on its own.
