R22 E-Bike Spiderless Retainer Chainring - Brose
Hope Technology adds to their chainring offering with the R22. A new chainring specifically designed to be compatible with all new drivetrain systems
The R22 features a new tooth profile to work with all major drivetrain types along with updated spider designs, and compatibility with 9/10/11 and 12 Speed drivetrains including SRAM T-Type and Shimano HG+.
The increased power transmitted via an E-bike motor is the ultimate test for chainring durability. It made sense therefore to develop Direct mount chainrings that are specifically designed to withstand the additional rigours of E-Bike use.

- Asymmetric tooth profile engineered for cross compatibility and functionality with different drivetrain systems
- 9/10/11 and 12 Speed compatible (including SRAM T-Type and Shimano HG+)
- Improved mud shedding capability
- Improved chain retention
- Better performance with extreme chain angles on modern 1 x drivetrains
- Tooth profile allows for more chain wear before function is compromised, extending service life
- Spiderless rings have a new leg design with improved strength and stiffness
- Directly mounts to motor and replaces the full spider assembly for a lighter and cleaner looking set- up
- Designed to give 52mm chainline to suit 148 Boost frames
- Designed to withstand the demands of E-Bike use
- Narrow/wide tooth profile designed to retain the chain without the need of a chain device
- CNC machined in 1 piece from billet
- Availabe 34 and 36 Tooth
- Available in Black, Silver, Blue, Red, Orange and Purple
- CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminium provides the perfect blend of lightweight and strength
- Hard anodised for an ultra-durable finish and increased longevity
