Road Bike Helmets are half shell helmets which have been designed to keep your head both cool and safe, whilst also providing an aerodynamic design. Road Bike helmets are typically lightweight, and all of the road cycling helmets we supply meet EU safety standards.

The construction of these helmets follows roughly the same design, they have a harder plastic shell - and they have a polystyrene inner liner. The plastic layer is designed to protect the inner polystyrene from small bumps and drops.

The design of the helmets vary - with aero helmets providing maximum aerodynamic design - time trial helmets offer the most extreme design, with a tear drop design at the back of the helmet to aid windflow. Many of these road bike helmets also have MIPS technology - meaning they have been designed to reduce rotational forces on the head, from an impact. These helmets are typically lighter than mountain bike helmets, and no road bike helmets have full face designs.
