There’s many benefits to buying an electric mountain bike over a regular mountain bike, aside from the obvious fact that riders benefit from electric power assistance when out riding - investing in an electric bike also means that you receive a standard of bike which is good, electric bikes at this price point are well built, have a decent level of components on them, and most important - are fun to ride.

The idea of an electric mountain bike for many, is to own and ride a bike which is fun to ride - and at and around the £2,000 price point, electric mountain bikes are fun and affordable. At this price point, you can expect a hardtail electric mountain bike, with a battery which sits on top of the frame of the bike - the battery will look larger than those found on more expensive models, but that’s not a problem or issue for most.

All of the electric mountain bikes that we supply are from brands we know and trust to deliver an excellent electric mountain bike package. These bikes, the components on them, including the motor and also the battery - are all high quality, and provide excellent real world performance.

Whilst you are restricted somewhat as to what you can do on these entry level hardtail electric mountain bikes, that does not take a single ounce of fun away from them. These are the bikes you can just jump on and ride, and they are more then capable of crossing a broad array of terrain, and some singletrack work too.

These bikes are also tough and reliable choices - they are constructed from advanced aluminium, which as well as being lightweight, is incredibly strong - meaning that these frames can handle the extra weight of their electrical trickery.

These electric bikes, from the likes of Giant, Scott and Cannondale allow you to ride further and harder than you can do on a regular mountain bike, and these bikes are perfect for riders who are getting older and would welcome the assistance to keep them pushing themselves.

Don’t think these bikes are electric motorbikes either - these bikes require pedalling and the fitness benefits of riding an electric mountain bike are well known.

Some of the standout models within the rang include the Giant Talon E+, the CUBE Reaction Hybrid Performance, and also the Bergamont ERevox. We are continually working to discount the electric mountain bikes within our ranges, so you can access a bike which costs far more than £2,000 at retail.
