Most eMTB bikes are generally a lot heavier than a standard mountain bike because they have the weight of the motor and ebike battery in addition to everything a standard MTB has. The Scott Lumen eRide is here to change that. Based on the fantastic Scott Spark XC bike, the Lumen features a hidden rear shock and an almost completely undetectable TQ bike motor providing 50Nm of torque, all weighing in from just 34.17lbs/15.5kg! The TQ HPR50 is almost completely silent and disengages from the drivetrain completely when riding unpowered, so you don't experience the resistance that most eBikes provide. This means the Lumen rides like a normal bike most of the time but offers that little boost of power of an e mountain bike when you need it.
