The All Road version of the Colnago C68 has all the features of the Road version but with a slightly relaxed geometry, taller headtube and the ability to accept tyre widths up to 35mm.
The C68 Allroad is a dedicated version of the C68, a range of bicycles that best expresses the concept of 'handmade in Italy' and stays true to the true Colnago DNA, with the concept of multiple parts. The C68's soul is based on performance but also oriented towards riding enjoyment.
Clean design, integration and modernity are at the core of the project.Unlike the road model, for the C68 Allroad specific geometries have been studied, making the bike more compact and comfortable, and with an optimized tire clearance.
Increased Fork Rake: the bike geometry sees +7mm on the Rake, with the same fork for all sizes. The trail is reduced compared to our std 43mm fork rake but this is balanced by bigger tires to obtain a similar value as our proven geometry.
From a structural point of view there are some noteworthy differences compared to the predecessor, C64: the bottom bracket, now with the standard T47, has merged with the seat tube while the "top tube" is characterized by the presence of two lugs: one connected with the seat tube, the other with the steering tube. These lugs are integral with each other in the full carbon frame version, but there is the possibility of having these two lugs in titanium alloy.
The Allroad is compatible with the CC.01 cockpit and has the same CeramicSpeed SLT bearings used in the Road variant. The seatpost is still the carbon fiber D-Shape of the latest models.
The derailleur hanger, seatpost clamp and axles components are borrowed from the Road version.
Remaining in the front section of the frame, note the integration of a ten-function multitool placed directly inside the steering cap (four-function multitool for the two smaller frame sizes). To maintain continuity in terms of spare parts and ease of production.
Finally, a new option allows for the removal of the front derailleur support for mounting groups with a single-chainring crank set.
Only Electronic group sets can be installed
