WINTER RIDING WITH CASTELLI AW20

We usually think of winter rides being all rain, wind and ice, but there can be nice days in winter too, so it’s important to use good quality cycling clothing which will allow you to manage your body temperature and offer good breathability.

Now in it’s fourth generation, the Gabba is the original short-sleeve waterproof jersey. The exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® 205 Warm brushed water resistant fabric on front-facing surfaces mean that it’s more water-resistant than ever before.

The Perfetto ROS light was created at the request of riders who needed a version of the gabba which was slightly less warm. With just a base layer it’s a wind-protection jersey for mild conditions. Alternatively, use it like a vest over a jersey with added protection over your shoulders. Lightweight, breathable front wind protection with all-over water repellency.

At the core of many of Castelli’s top garments, you’ll find their Nano Flex fabrics. Nano Flex Xtra Dry offer maximum water repellency, warmth an wind protection with a compressive fit and Nano Flex 3G is a softer fabric used where a stretchier material is needed. Both benefit from a topical nanotechnology microfilament mechanical water repellent finish combined with a short chain chemical DWR finish for class leading water repellency.
