Whyte Bikes
Whyte bikes are British made and synonymous with their range of mountain bikes and e-MTBs. Equally well known for their reputation with trail-based hardtail mountain bikes as well as their full suspension MTBs and e-bikes, Whyte have built a following from those riders who expect nothing but the best performance. A Whyte bike is also backed up with excellent support, offering a 2 year warranty on frames that can be extended to 4 years by registering your bike, and a lifetime warranty on main pivot bearings for the original owner. Whyte mountain bikes are intended to tackle the UK weather and terrain, so they are built to be rugged and last.
Whyte hardtail
Whyte trail hardtails have an excellent reputation, with consistently high review scores. The Whyte 905 features 27.5" wheels with big volume tyres, Rockshox forks and geometry perfectly suited to a trail bike. With a similar focus but at a slightly more budget-friendly price, the Whyte 901 comes equipped with a Sram groupset and a KS Suspension dropper post.
Whyte full suspension
There are excellent full suspension bike options in the form of the Whyte T140, which has superceded the Whyte T130, named after the amount of suspension travel they offer. They are all Aluminium framed mountain bikes and the top of the range T-140 RS comes equipped with a Sram drivetrain and Fox forks. Riders looking for more of an enduro bike should check out the Whyte t160 range, and for the ultimate gravity focussed ride, take a look at the G180 range which has taken over the reins from the Whyte G170.
Whyte ebike
We have found that the most popular ebike is the Whyte e160, as it is possibly the most versatile ebike in the range. Its geometry is based on their tried and tested enduro bikes, and uses components from top brands like Sram, Fox, DT Swiss and Maxxis. For the gravity junkies, the Whyte E180 is the ultimate shuttle run machine, with its Bosch motor effortlessly propelling riders up the hill, and its downhill tuned geometry dealing with anything the countryside or bike park can throw at it.
