The long travel Enduro bike scene has snowballed in popularity over the last few years, driven by the popularity of the EWS race series, prominent local events like 'Ard Rock, and media coverage. The Transition Spire is borne from the demand for ultra capable bikes with the descending ability of a dedicated downhill bike, but that can still climb and pedal the miles involved in these Enduro events. As is the current trend, the Transition Spire is 170mm front and rear suspension travel on fast rolling 29" wheels. Both alloy framed and carbon framed versions are available, with drivetrain components being specced from Shimano, Sram and TRP. Of course, the Transition Spire uses their Speed Balanced Geometry and Giddy Up suspension linkage to provide a balanced, nimble ride that Transition owners will no doubt be familiar with.
