Sram
Rival
The Sram Rival component range consists of both traditional mechanical shifting options and modern wireless electronic shifting options to cater for all needs. Both options sit just below Force in their groupset hierarchy and benefit from technologies being trickled down, but Sram Rival is much more affordable and accessible to more riders.
Sram Rival was originally designed for road bikes, but is also perfect for gravel riding aswell, with the clutch system in the rear derailleurs and features like narrow-wide jockey wheels providing excellent chain retention when things get a bit rougher. 12 speed cassettes can be used with either 1x or 2x setups to perfectly tailor your groupset to your riding style and the landscape.
The introduction of Sram Rival eTap AXS has been monumental as it allows riders to access the unique benefits of wireless shifting at a much more budget price than was previously available. Sram Rival AXS provides the opportunity to customise shifter functionality and even add extra buttons called Blips, which can be used as extra shifters for time trial bikes, or to actuate a dropper post on a gravel bike.
Sram Rival eTap AXS offers a great upgrade opportunity and the chance for riders who have never experienced wireless electronic shifting to witness its benefits first-hand, without the previously high price point. Whether you're a time trialler, a road bike rider or a gravel or cyclocross rider, Sram Rival offers great performance at a budget price and can be configured exactly how you want it.
