Sram
Force
The Sram Force groupset sits nicely in between the top-tier Sram Red, and the more budget friendly Rival range to provide a performance orientated groupset at a much more accessible price point. Over the years the Sram Force range has been updated to include technologies previously reserved for the pro-level Red. Force was initially introduced to rival the Japanese component giant Shimano's Ultegra groupset, offering performance and durability in a lightweight package, and even included carbon components.
The arrival of the Sram Force AXS groupset saw a major leap forward at this level as wireless electronic shifting was introduced. No longer reserved just for the pros, Sram Force AXS was now available to a much wider range of riders, all of which could benefit from the advantages electronic shifting systems inherently bring.
Although initially aimed purely at road bikes, the Sram Force groupset is equally at home on gravel bikes, and can be bought in both 1x and 2x setups. Sram Force is often fitted to performance gravel bikes as OEM, but also offers an excellent upgrade to bikes fitted with a lower spec.
The main attraction for the Sram Force components is that it brings a high level of technology to a much more accessible price making it a great option for many riders and disciplines. Anyone wanting to improve the performance of their road, gravel or cyclocross bike, or are just looking for an opportunity to make their bike lighter, Sram Force is a great option.
