Quarq

Quarq design and manufacture a range of power meters designed to be fitted to a bike, to measure the power output of the rider. They work by using a strain gauge which measures torque, combined with angular velocity - giving a power reading, which is measured in watts. Quarq Power Meters have built up a fantastic reputation for providing reliable and accurate measurements, whilst still providing excellent value for the customer. 

QuarQ power meters are available to use across mountain bikes, road bikes, and gravel bikes and the brand is the brainchild of Jim and Mieke Meyer - who founded the business back in 2006. The start of the business came from their need for a power meter which was affordable and worked how they wanted it to; with a natural passion for both mathematics and cycling they made it a reality.
