Although for many Mahle will be synonymous with the automotive industry, the Mahle eBikemotion system has helped to make electric road bikes almost indistinguishable from their standard counterparts. The Mahle smartbike systems x35+ delivers 250 Watts of power through a hub based motor, rather than a bottom bracket based motor as with traditional e-bikes. The electric bike batteries capacity can be increased with the Mahle range extender battery for longer days in the saddle and both the internal battery and the Mahle battery extender can be charged from a single charger. The Mahle x35 system can be updated by using the Mahle GCU cable. The Mahle ebike app adds a further level of connectivity between you and your electric bike, allowing you to keep track of the battery charging status and training data.
