The Cube Attention range is an excellent entry point into mountain biking and offers a durable and reliable bike for many applications. This hardtail MTB collection is equally at home on a leisurely ride on an old railway line, as it is ripping through the trees on some singletrack, or even on the daily commute.

The Cube Attention bike was introduced initially as a cross country bike, but as it has been tweaked and refined over the years, it has become more and more suitable for some light trail riding as well. Shimano and Sram drivetrain components can be found throughout the range providing reliable, slick shifting, even in the worst of conditions.

The Cube Attention is a hardtail mountain bike, which means it only has suspension at the front, on the forks. Although it can be seen as not being as good as a full suspension mountain bike, a hardtail also has its benefits. There are fewer moving parts, so there is less to maintain on a hardtail mountain bike; this often makes them a popular choice with seasoned riders in the winter, as the poor weather conditions can often cause bearings to fail and increase wear in other areas. The other big benefit is that a hardtail MTB is usually lighter than a full suspension bike, because there are fewer parts to the frame.

One of the questions often asked is "What is the best hardtail under £1000"? Whilst there is no outright correct answer to that question, we think that the Cube Attention mountain bike collection certainly offers some of the best value for money out there, often with an unbeatable spec at that price point.
