With road cycling being one of the most popular forms of cycling, and with more women than ever taking up the sport and getting out on a road bike - more and more manufacturers are turning their attention to designing and manufacturing women specific road bikes. In the past, when the main difference in mens & womens bikes was simply styling - it’s refreshing to see that a range of women specific bikes are now commonplace.

These womens road bikes do not reinvent the wheel, but many have specific frames designed for women, whilst many others also have specific handlebars and components - more suited to use by women. These may include smaller components and handlebars, and many also a feature a more comfortable saddle, allowing uninterrupted cycling time.

The range of womens road bikes encompasses all budgets and abilities, and there are both race and endurance bias models within the collection. The same materials which are used in mens road bikes are also used in womens road bikes, with steel, aluminium and carbon fibre framed bikes being available within the collection.
