BEHIND THE PRODUCT
Our ultimate long-distance jersey for very warm weather, the GT DRYLITE weighs 25% less than the standard UMA GT C2 EVO jersey. The body consists of two new, ultra-light textiles that ensure breathability and cooling air circulation. This means it is in no way inferior to the DYORA RS and at the same time offers the comfortable fit of the GT. The sleeves have also been revised. Made from the same textile as the DYORA RS jersey, they provide breathable, muscle-hugging support inspired by racing gear but optimized for sleek comfort. The GT DRYLITE (SPF 15) is so light, breathable and cooling that we recommend using a sunscreen underneath.
WHEN/HOW TO USE IT
For the standard 1/3 layering system for summer, this jersey is designed to be seamlessly combined with a summer skin layer and the UMA GT bib shorts.
FINE DETAILS / FEATURED FABRICS
The main textile is AirCell, a new, ultra-light circular knit fabric with an open hexagon pattern that is breathable, moisture-wicking, cooling and has the feel of a Racing Series jersey. AirCell's bi-stretch properties provide elastic, body-hugging horizontal stretch and vertical support. The rear pockets are additionally supported by the lightweight Stabilizer V11 Mesh. It's cooler and more breathable than the standard GT version. Push-pull sleeves ensure a racing-inspired silhouette with low weight, low volume, high-stretch comfort and UPF 50+.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Our sleek regularFit ensures ultimate comfort on long journeys. Set-in sleeves improve freedom of movement of the arms while stabilizing the shoulder panels.
ENGINEERING
- Raw-Cut Sleeves: Racing construction that creates no transition edges, characterized by clear lines and an aerodynamic shape.
- Triple Ramp Pockets: Flexible panel “lids” secure and stabilize the contents of the pockets. The bags are highly elastic in the upper area, which means they offer more storage space, while the lower half provides stable vertical support to prevent sagging.
- PILtec Plug-In: The back hem is finished with a lightweight, ultra-breathable textile band with microdot silicone treatment. This stabilizes the back of the jersey and ensures support even when wet.
